Building my own gaming pc

"About a year ago, I started on a project to build my own gaming computer, diving deep into hardware optimization and compatibility. I leveraged YouTube tutorials to curate the best components within my budget, planning each part to avoid bottlenecks and ensure compatibility. I took advantage of Black Friday sales to maximize my investment, ensuring I got the best bang for my buck.
Once all parts arrived, I assembled the system with guidance from online resources, which went smoothly, showcasing my ability to follow technical instructions accurately. However, upon first boot, I encountered an issue - the system only loaded into BIOS. This was a learning opportunity; in my excitement, I had overlooked the need for an operating system.
After some initial disappointment, I conducted further research and innovatively solved the problem by cloning Windows 11 from my Lenovo ThinkPad using a USB flash drive. This not only resolved the OS issue but also introduced me to troubleshooting with bootable media. After navigating through additional setup challenges, I successfully transformed the setup into a fully operational gaming PC.
This experience not only honed my practical hardware skills but also enhanced my problem-solving abilities, technical research, and resourcefulness - all critical competencies in an IT environment. I'm eager to bring this hands-on experience and my passion for technology to an entry-level IT role where I can continue to learn and contribute to tech solutions."
